Other Ways Party Rental Companies Can Make Money Outside of Weddings/ Large Scale Events

Look, it's no secret that the event industry has been hit hard by the Coronavirus Pandemic.

We know that many of our party rental customers make the majority of their money with sizable weddings and large scale event rentals.

So, we here at EventStable are doing our best to remain positive and instill that positivity in our customers.

That being said, just because weddings and events have been ordered to scale back, does not mean your business has to scale back too.

You heard us. There are other ways your party rental company can make money outside of weddings and large scale events. It’s time to get creative and a bit more helpful.

And we’re not just talking about folding tables and chairs. Here are few ideas to get your party rental business out of a Covid-19 rut.

Help Your Community

You know the community that has given you a steady revenue stream and endless referrals? It’s time to turn around and help them.

Reach out to local businesses in your community and ask them what they need help with amidst Covid-19.

In many cases businesses like gyms or even small retailers cannot operate indoors because they don’t have enough space for social distancing guidelines.

Help them utilize their parking lots with tents and table rentals, so they can still serve their customers.

The restaurant industry just like the event industry has been hit hard by Covid-19.

Can you provide extra tables, chairs and tent rentals so they can serve their customers outdoors?

You can go further with linens and tableware rentals. Don’t forget about heating and cooling options.

What about local non-profit organizations? Many have had to cancel fundraising events and are unable to serve communities in need.

Provide rentals that allow them to hold those events outdoors.

Good examples are farmers markets that will need fencing, signage and tents for the markets to run under CDC guidelines.

Lastly, reach out to hospitals and retirement/elderly care communities.

You can provide tents and folding tables for Covid-19 testing but there are other ways you can help those facilities.

For example customer Just 4 Fun Party Rentals helped a retirement community set up a temporary mailroom:

Look for Small Scale Event Opportunities

Although smaller scale events may not have been a part of your regular business before Covid-19, there are unique opportunities to help customers throw meaningful gatherings.

If Coronavirus has taught us all anything, it is that it is even more important to celebrate the small stuff.

Milestones such as birthdays and anniversaries are to be cherished and celebrated.

Help customers throw backyard events. It may be more reason to rent out specialty stacking chairs such as cross back chairs or Chiavari chairs to elevate the backyard scene.

Lastly, help customers take stay-at-home to a new fun level with rentals such movie projectors and outdoor sound systems like seen here by customer Just 4 Fun Party Rentals:

We hope we’ve gotten your wheels spinning on ways your party rental company can make money outside of weddings and large scale events.

During these times creativity and a neighborly spirit can go a long way.
