So really, what makes our chairs different? Let's start at the beginning with raw materials. Chiavari chairs are made from a hardwood called "Acacia" wood. Once the wood is milled and bent, the darker and lighter wood is separated to ultimately become either painted or stained chairs. The lighter wood makes for much nicer natural and fruitwood chiavari chairs for example.

Once the wood has been separated, construction begins. Care is taken to glue and staple the spindles into place. The seat is attached with metal bolts through the back legs, and brackets are screwed in under the seat to help support the legs from side-to-side sway.

After that, the chairs are either painted or stained. The painted chairs are treated with primer, then several coats of durable paint. The stained chairs are finished with a number of coats of clear polyurethane to ensure years of protection and durability.

Wood chiavari chairs are a great choice for party rental companies with customers looking for the warmth and feel of a real wood chair. Not to mention, colors like our fruitwood and natural chiavari chairs cannot be duplicated with other materials like resin or metal. Event venues can benefit by offering chiavari chairs to their brides and guests, adding measurable value to their facility and adding to the bottom line.
