Wood-backed chiavari chair cushions are a nice alternative to the standard box cushions.  The wood-backed design features velcro patches that attach under the cushion under the cushion.  Each cushion comes with velcro pre-attached, and comes with the other side of the velcro so you can staple and/or glue the velcro to your chiavari chairs.

 
Vinyl fabric covered cushions are made from a rugged, easy to clean vinyl with high density foam.  They are easier to put on the chairs and take them off, for quick and easy event setups.
