Cart and Checkout FAQs

Why am I being charged shipping?

There are a few reasons why the cart could be calculating shipping charges.  As a rule, we offer free shipping on most items if your order total is over $1000.  Check to see if you have non-free shipping items in your cart.  We do not offer free shipping to Canada, Alaska or Hawaii.  In these situations, please contact us for a competitive shipping rate.

Why is there a $75 shipping fee?

Don't select the $75 surcharge for orders under $1000 (e.g. FedEx or UPS shipments).  That said, most orders ship "Freight" with a common carrier.  Freight companies charge an additional fee, from $75-$200, for deliveries to a non-commercial address, and/or deliveries requiring a liftgate.  We pass on only $75 of these additional charges for residential or liftgate delivery.

"Sorry the website is currently unable to calculate shipping..."

This message will appear for shipments outside of the 48 contiguous states, as well as odd-sized shipments.  Certain orders, like orders containing a single large table, are too large to be calculated by FedEx Ground, and don't weigh enough to be calculated for freight.  In these situations, please contact us for a custom shipping quote.

Credit Card Error

If you're getting a message about a credit card error, please check to make sure all the information you entered matches your credit card and associated billing address.  If all of your information is correct but the card was declined this may be caused by a purchasing limit on your card, perhaps it was exceeded.  If you are still having difficulty, please contact us at 866-360-4642 and we'll be happy to help you troubleshoot the issue.

Why am I being charged sales tax?

We are required to collect sales tax to orders shipped to California.  If you are shipping to California, the appropriate sales tax will be added to your order total.  If your organization is tax-exempt, please contact us directly for help checking out.
