Tables and Chairs That Can Handle Inclement Weather
Fall is upon us and “weather” we like it or not, we are seeing a shift to cooler, wet and even snowy outdoor conditions. Speaking from our office in Connecticut, we’ve been experiencing cold and rainy weather the last few days.
This doesn’t mean the outdoor party is over. In fact, we have Halloween this weekend.
Normally events would begin to shift indoors but due to Covid-19 and social distancing guidelines and recommendations, the outdoor season is extending.
We’re seeing restaurants, venues, and party rental companies get creative with creating warm and inviting outdoor setups that can endure whatever mother nature throws at us this fall and winter.
While you can be prepared, there are times when, let’s say, an outdoor ceremony may unexpectedly get rained upon.
In these cases you need tables and chairs that can handle the outdoor elements and won’t need replacing after one event season.
Here are a few of our recommendations for chairs and tables that can withstand seasonal weather:
Plastic Folding Chairs
We may have said this a few times but there is a reason these chairs are considered the workhorses of the event industry.
If they happen to get rained upon or even a bit muddy, simply wipe them down and they are good as new! Also we might add their versatility is endless - we’ve seen them used for outdoor ceremonies, backyard gatherings and more.
These stacking plastic chairs are easy to clean - just hose them off and move on to the next one. There are no moving parts to come apart or rust. We have party rental companies that have had these same chairs in service for 20 years!
You won't find a better return on your investment than that. They also stack 15 high so you can quickly move them out of the way of an impending storm.
Plastic Folding Tables
Whether round or banquet style, plastic folding tables are specifically engineered to withstand outdoor elements far better than wooden banquet tables ever could.
Similar to plastic folding chairs, these tables can simply be wiped or hosed down after enduring inclement weather or muddy, grassy conditions.
Customer Jim S. couldn’t have said it better, “These are perfect as they are lightweight, easy to fold up and store and they are sturdy enough to hold up strong for any heavy use we have put them through.”
What more can we say?
These are just a few tried and tested tables and chairs that are sure to handle unpredictable weather conditions this fall and beyond.
