How to Create a Stand-Out Party Rental Rental Showroom

Party rental showrooms have the potential to do a lot more than simply display inventory such as folding chairs, stacking chairs, tables and linens

Potential customers need to envision how their rentals will come together for their intended event.

Having quality rental equipment is a great first step, but to make your showroom stand out you have to show how rental elements go together and create an experience for your customers.

We have a few tips to make your party rental showroom go from fraternity basement bash to ballroom event ready.

You are after all, in the event business. Whichever events you cater to, small or large, backyard parties to weddings, put your inventory on display.

Pictures and linen swatches are nice but that only gives a customer a piece of what their event could look like.

If you don’t have an event planner on staff, ask a planner you partner with often to set up your folding tables and chairs as if they were event ready.

For example, customer Taylor Rentals Party Plus in Connecticut displays a mock head table in their showroom with a table runner, plates, flatware and glassware.

Customers are more likely to rent if they see the products in action.

If your showroom is on the smaller side, try using half-rounds positioned against the walls to display unique table settings.

Use your walls to display linen options and even use professional photos taken of your rentals at events. In the end, keep it simple. You want to show the variety of rentals you have to offer but you also don’t want to overwhelm the customer.

Quick Tip! Order sample chairs for your showroom. There are few great things about this:

  • You don’t have to commit to a bulk order right away
  • You and your customers can test the product in person
  • You can find out if the chair will be popular enough in your market
  • If customers like the chairs they can book their rentals and you get paid to buy the chairs in bulk!

You’ll get 50% off the chairs, tracking information within a couple days, and within a week or two, you’ll have new chairs in your showroom to display and start collecting deposits on.

Change it Up

Whatever the size of the showroom, it shouldn’t remain static. As the seasons change, so do trends.

Maybe you’ve recently added farm tables or cross back chairs to your inventory. Make sure your newest arrivals are on display. For your new or returning customers, a fresh setup can spark a new idea or theme for an event or party.

Spring is coming so why not include fresh or faux florals in your setup to get customers excited for the rental season. When the holidays approach, make sure your displays capture the warmth and color schemes of holiday events.

Show Up for Your Showroom

Although showrooms can show off beautiful products, friendly and knowledgeable rental staff can make a crucial customer connection.

By visiting your showroom and meeting your team of experienced staff, customers can feel confident about their rental choices and that when they are delivered, they will meet their exact requirements.

So, if you want a stand out showroom you’re going to have to level up as they say. Display your inventory, keep it fresh and provide A+ customer service.

At EventStable customer service is our priority. Let us help you keep your showroom looking its best with quality event equipment.
