3 Ways You Can Diversify Your Party Rental Inventory

As you grow your party rental business there will come a time for you to begin thinking about how to diversify your inventory and expand your customer base.

So, you have your base of folding chairs and tables that have already given you a high return on investment. What’s next?

Before you begin adding to your inventory, it is important to look at your local market and see what there is a demand for.

Not only that, but you’ll want to look at your competitors and see if there is a rental niche they are not yet meeting.

Once you’ve done that, here are a few types of inventory to consider when it comes time to expand your party rental business:

There most likely is a party rental company in your area specializing in large tent rentals.

By large tent rentals we mean carnivals, festivals, weddings and other large scale outdoor events.

Large tents require more employees and more storage space, so if you’re not quite there yet, investing in small tents may be worth considering.

With small tents such as the ones seen in our backyard wedding bundle, you can serve small backyard weddings, graduation parties and other small outdoor celebrations.

It seems parents are going all out these days for kids' birthday parties. Not only that, but there are now event planners that specialize in kids events.

What would a kids party be without furniture made specifically for them?

If you don’t see party rental companies in your area servicing kids birthday parties, this could be a unique inventory opportunity.

Luckily there are plenty of kids furniture to choose from, even kids ghost chairs

High-End Stacking Chairs

Are there country clubs, ballrooms or hotels in your area? These venues often hold elegant events in need of high-end seating to match.

Some may have their own inventory of Chiavari chairs but do they have specialty chairs such as stainless steel alexa chairs?

Having unique seating options will put you ahead of your competitors with a more basic inventory.

These are just some additional inventory ideas to consider when you begin diversifying your party rental business. We hope it’s enough to get you thinking!
