3 Things to Consider When Choosing Inventory for Your Event Venue

A large part of running a successful event venue is providing added value to your customers.

A great way to do so is offering your own inventory of tables and chairs so it is one less thing they have to worry about when planning their celebration.

When choosing which tables and chairs are right for your venue, there are a few things you should consider before purchasing:

Determine What Types of Events You Will be Holding

If your venue is mainly going to host weddings, you will want to consider chairs and tables that cover both ceremony and reception.

If hosting special events such as graduation parties and birthdays are going to be your niche, then you may want to choose tables and chairs that are functional and versatile.

Will your venue focus on conferences, meetings and employee trainings? If so, banquet style tables and chairs will better suit your needs.

Determine If You Will Have Indoor and Outdoor Events

Does your venue have indoor and outdoor spaces to host events? If so, you’ll want to consider chairs such as resin folding chairs and plastic folding tables.

These are great choices because not only are they easy to transport to an outdoor area but they can withstand being in the grass and can be easily wiped down if there is inclement weather.

Determine Your Aesthetic

Whether you are a rustic barn venue, luxury hotel, your venue already has a certain aesthetic your target customers are looking for. It is important that your inventory reflects that, especially when thinking about added value.

For example, if you are a rustic wedding venue, your brides might expect cross back chairs and farm tables that fit into their vision for their special day.

As a luxury event venue, classic and elegant Chiavari chairs would better fit the expectations of your customers.

These are just a few things to consider when choosing inventory for your venue.
