3 Add Ons Venues Should Consider Including In Their Wedding Packages

As wedding venue you’re probably already offering standard wedding packages that include the use of your space(s) and hopefully tables and chairs (hint*hint*). As your venue business grows, you may want to consider including unique additions to your package.

Why? Well, those extras will not only make your couple’s wedding day/planning easier, it will make their day that much more special for their guests (If you haven’t heard, that’s what modern couples want these days).

In return, your venue will stand out from the competition and make you that much more attractive to prospective customers.

Here are 3 add ons we think venues should consider adding to their wedding packages:

Unique Tables and Chairs

It’s wonderful you’ve invested in white resin folding chairs and plastic folding tables. From our perspective, they’ll never do you wrong. The next addition you can offer your couples are chairs that are just as unique as they are.

Couples are already interested in your venue because it fits who they are as a couple. So, we suggest offering tables and chairs that enhance the feel of your existing space(s).

Are you a barn or even a warm industrial venue? Consider cross back chairs and farm tables. Or are you a high end inn or hotel? Consider Chiavari chairs, stainless steel chairs, or pull out all the stops with Chameleon Chairs.

See where we’re going with this? If the investment seems a bit too much right now, start with a small set and make them exclusive to couples willing to pay more.

Gathering Areas

Many venues already offer bridal or groom suites for getting ready and these are wonderful add ons to your package. We also suggest adding different areas for guests to gather around your venue.

If space allows, why not create a furnished cocktail area for guests to relax before the bride and groom arrive. Have an outdoor courtyard? That is a great space for cocktail tables where guests can mingle.

Lighting

With weddings, ambiance is everything. What better way to create ambiance for your couples than with lighting? After reception gathering with late night food and fire pits has become the norm.

Market lights are a great addition to outdoor spaces where guests can enjoy the outdoors even as the sun goes down.

With so many venues to choose from, it is easy for engaged couples to feel overwhelmed. Offering unique additions to your wedding package will make your venue stand out because couples will feel at ease knowing everything they want is all in one place.
